Texere Highlights 2021
2021 has been certainly an unusual year but our team worked hard to find the right balance between what worked before and what needs to be done in order to succeed and take home results for our partners in the new normal.
As we look forward to 2022, we have compiled a review of the key activities and achievements of this year.
We Expanded
After witnessing an increasing interest in India by European brands, and the strategic need to have our own office in China, Texere opened an office in Mumbai as well as Shanghai and appointed Royden Correa and Kylie Ding as respective Country Managers.
We Welcomed New Partners
We Organised Events in Singapore
We Strengthened The Presence Of Our Partners in Asia
A new showroom was opened for Cappellini in Korea and different events were organised to boost brand awareness, such as the exhibition "Viva Italia" and the installation celebrating Shiro Kuramata.
New distribution partners were also added for EMU in Korea and Singapore. A colourful pop-up store was set up at the Galleria Department Store in Seoul and the brand was selected for an F&B project at Mount Faber, Singapore.
Following the successful expansion in China and the presence at the futuristic showroom “The Shouter” in Shangai, we will focus on expanding the presence of LaCividina in India with a recently appointed distributor.
Our first gourmet food partner Castrovinci is now available at the Little Farms grocery store chain across the key areas of Singapore.
A mono-brand store at the renowned Marina Bay Sands and a branded corner at Tangs department store were opened in Singapore in a joint venture between Texere and Pineider.
The expansion will continue in India, where the brand will be available online starting from this month.
One of our latest partners Pdipigna landed in the Singaporean market. The brand is now available at the book store chain Kinokuniya as well as the Tangs department store.
We Put Together The Texere Retail series
In an effort to aid our partners in the complicated journey of expansion, we have released two editions of the Texere Retail Series. The reports offer a playbook and rules that will likely be required to stand out from the competition in Singapore and India, through interviews with local industry experts, media, and consumers.
We look forward to many more activities in 2022 and if you wish to understand how to expand your brand in Asia, reach out to us at info@texereadvisors.com
